Calling Visa

Visa Granting Procedure:

In approving visas for Calling Visa Countries, a Visa Assessment Coordination Team is formed consisting of several agencies including:

1. Ministry of Law and Human Rights;
2. Ministry of Home Affairs;
3. Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
4. Ministry of Labor;
5. The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia;
6. The Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia;
7. The State Intelligence Agency;
8. Indonesian National Army;
9. National Narcotics Agency; and
10. National Counterterrorism Agency.

The Visa Assessment Coordination Team will hold a meeting every Tuesday of each week commonly called "Clearance House" by inviting the sponsor to provide information on the intent and purpose of inviting foreign nationals from the Calling Visa Country, then the team will provide an assessment and issue an approval or visa application addressed to the Directorate of Visas.

Application for a visit visa for citizens from the Calling Visa Country is submitted by the guarantor, both individual Indonesian citizens and corporations to the Director General of Immigration in order to:

• Conducting business talks;
• Purchase goods;
• Giving lectures or attending seminars;
• Participate in an international exhibition;
• Holding a meeting held with the head office or representative in Indonesia;
• Conducting journalistic visits;
• Making a movie;
• Providing guidance, counseling, and training in the application and innovation of industrial technology to improve the quality and design of industrial products and marketing cooperation abroad for Indonesia;
• Conducting audits, production quality control, or inspections at company branches in Indonesia;
• Foreign labor candidates in the trial of ability to work.
