Who is it for and what is it good for?

If you've ever dreamed of packing it all in and choosing to live in one of Indonesia's tropical island paradises, then KITAP Pensiun gives you access to your perfect dream!

KITAP Pensiun is a 5-year visa that allows foreigners to stay in Indonesia and enjoy their retirement in one of the largest countries in the world with relative ease.

The requirements for KITAP Pensiun are that the foreigner is over 55 years old and must have had KITAP Pensiun for 4 years before applying.

If you are above 55 years old and have not previously held a Retirement KITAS, then you must apply for one before applying for a Retirement KITAP.

Steps to get your Retirement KITAP

  1. Submit a Retirement KITAP application at the local immigration office
  2. Attend the Biometrics and fingerprinting session
  3. Approval process from the immigration office, Directorate General of Immigration, and Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights
  4. Completion of KITAP with E-KITAP along with re-entry permit 4.

Multiple Entry Requirements

  • Sponsor Letter (draft provided)
  • Foreigner's original passport
  • Life and Health Insurance
  • Pension fund statement of at least USD 1,500/month (Annual USD 18,000)
  • House rental agreement of at least 1 year (signed by both parties, must mention the name of the landlord, address of the rented house, amount of rent and destruction of the landlord's ID card)
  • Current account with a minimum amount of USD 1,500
  • SKTT (residence permit card)
  • All Copy of KITAS and 1,2,3 and 4
  • Copy of marriage certificate if married

    What is the drinking age to apply?
    You must be over 55 years old to apply for a retirement visa in Indonesia.
    You cannot work with this visa, it is only for retirement purposes.
    Yes, once you have the visa, you can retire anywhere in Indonesia.
