Integrated Visa-to-Deportation Data, Immigration Strengthens Digital Services
Jakarta, KORANTRANSAKSI.com – The Directorate General of Immigration ensures that the confidentiality and security of the public’s data are maintained through the development of an immigration data service application, alongside the digital transformation of public services.
Chair of the Immigration Data Service Team at the Directorate of Immigration Information Technology, Angga Adwiyantara, said the application is designed to guarantee the protection of personal data in every request and provision process involving immigration data.
“This application is built to create immigration data service governance that ensures the confidentiality and security of data, while also providing effective and efficient services in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations,” Angga said.
He explained that the application includes five main types of services: visa data, border-crossing data, stay permit data, passport data, and deportation data. “All these services are integrated into a single system that makes access easier while still safeguarding information security,” he added.
Through these efforts, Immigration encourages the use of digital technology in public services—not only to make access easier, but also to ensure the security and protection of people’s data. (TIM)
